Welcome to Gosnells. We are an independent, London-born drinks company, with our home in Peckham.
Our passion is creating delicious, unique drinks made with honey, for people with adventurous tastes.
We love bees and blending the amazing flavours they can produce, together with our own fresh ideas, to create a modern version of Mead, the oldest alcoholic drink in the world.
We always ferment our drinks with 100% natural honey, responsibly sourced from the finest suppliers across the globe.
Our drinks never contain added sugar, gluten, sulphites, artificial flavours or colourings.
Why would you, when nature supplies all you need?
As a small independent team, we always try to balance running a profitable business, with doing what we can to make the world a better place.
Supporting sustainable biodiversity is essential for us to maintain the supply of the finest honey for our drinks.
So, we aim to connect more people to nature and create more natural habitats & food sources for bees and other wild pollinators.
We’ve created our own Mead Garden, to enrich biodiversity at our Peckham house and work with community groups to re-wild urban areas with nectar-rich flowers, shrubs and trees.
We also make sustainable choices to protect our environment, reducing waste and recycling where possible to reduce our carbon footprint.
We support paying all of our team members a London Living wage, and believe in operating In a fair, transparent way with all our partners, as we journey to B-Corp status.
Everything we do starts with the honey.
You probably don’t think about honey as much as we do. Don’t worry no one does.
But take a moment now. What is honey?
We like to say that honey is liquid flowers. Bees take one of the best things about summer, flowers, and transform them into something you can spread on your toast.
Of course, if you’re a true honey aficionado you’ll know that honey tastes completely different depending on what the bees have been eating.
Bees tucking into a tangy orange blossom say, or the deep flavour of heather produce honey that are poles apart.
So that’s where we start from, with the best honeys from around the world.
To make our session meads we carefully blend an ever changing cast of honeys, to get the same depth of flavour year after year.
Of course, for our limited meads, we love the variation in the flavour and the real sense of place you get, we love collecting honey from around the UK and further afield.
