Artisan chocolatier Isabelle Alaya founded her Melange Chocolate Shop and Café in the cosmopolitan area of Bellenden Road in 2008, Peckham. Right down the road from us! Since then, Isabelle has built upon her business, establishing a reputation making specialty award-winning hand-made chocolate bars and truffles characterised by an eclectic combination of spices, herbs and fruits.
Our Head Brewer has chosen a particular pairing of our Acacia 7.5% mead and two 34% Cocoa strips flavoured with Coriander and Grapefruit.
The Borage mead has a sweet creamy body with melon, white flesh peach and a warm finish.
The hand made chocolate strips are delicate and ideal compliment to a glass of mead to share.
